Ref. 116059 - Inspired by the simplicity and clear structure of historic automotive speedometers, the watch's dial is dedicated to the essential time display, underscored by the strong contrast between silvery white and black. Large Arabic numerals, as well as the hands and minute markers coated with Super-LumiNova®, ensure perfect legibility. With its red color and distinctive Minerva arrow at its tip, the iconic central seconds hand immediately catches the eye. The scale, ranging from 05 to 60, is closely modeled on those of Minerva stopwatches from the early 20th century, underscoring the racing aspirations of the watch. The date display is located next to the 15-minute numeral at 3 o'clock. Equipped with hour numerals and indices, the glossy black ceramic bezel can be rotated unidirectionally to set a second time zone. It features a knurled finish on the side for a better grip, inspired by the fuel caps of historic racing cars. The 41 mm satin-brushed stainless steel case with semi-skeletonized lugs offers the highest reliability and performance: It is water-resistant to 100 meters and has been tested according to the rigorous Montblanc Laboratory Test 500. The watch is complemented by a choice of a black leather or rubber strap with asymmetric holes, or a new, high-performance three-link stainless steel bracelet.
