Ref. 107113 - Montblanc Star Chronograph UTC Automatic - Modern mountaineering originated in the late 18th century, when successful alpinists first reached the summit of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Europe. Another era was ushered in around the same time over 1,000 km to the north in Greenwich, near London, when Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) was established as a new reference point to coordinate timekeeping around the globe. The Montblanc Star Chronograph UTC Automatic embodies both of these developments. The fine guilloché decoration on the dial is taken from the brand's emblem and evokes the power of the most spectacular mountain in the Alps to captivate the world with its charisma. An arrow on the second time zone hand points to the current time, which can be seen on the 24-hour scale of the bezel.
