Ref. 125567 - The Montblanc 1858 line is inspired by the legendary Minerva professional watches of the 1920s and 1930s, designed for military use and exploration. Reinterpreting these iconic timepieces, the Montblanc 1858 line expresses the adventure of mountaineering—embodying the modern trend of returning to nature. The Montblanc 1858 Geosphere pays tribute to the ultimate challenge in mountaineering, the Seven Summits, the holy grail of the sport. It features a 42mm titanium case combined with blue and contrasting design details in frosty white to reference the colors of icebergs. The watch is equipped with an in-house world time complication developed by the Montblanc watchmakers in Villeret: two domed hemispheres that rotate in opposite directions and complete one complete rotation within 24 hours. Both hemispheres are surrounded by scales displaying the 24 time zones and feature a day/night indicator in contrasting colors. They ensure intuitive reading of the different time zones, further enhanced by the SuperLumiNova® coating on the continents, ensuring this important information is retained even in the dark. The watch is completed by a vintage-style technical bracelet made of matte satin-finished titanium and polished stainless steel.
