Ref. 126758 - The Montblanc 1858 line is inspired by the legendary Minerva professional watches of the 1920s and 1930s, designed for military use and exploration. Reinterpreting these historic timepieces, the Montblanc 1858 line expresses the adventure of mountaineering—embodying the modern trend of returning to nature. Among the purest vintage-inspired timepieces, the new Montblanc 1858 Automatic features a blue dial, case, and bracelet. The case features a fixed stainless steel bezel, engraved with matching glossy blue ceramic and featuring a luminescent engraving of the four cardinal directions. The Montblanc 1858 Automatic features a 40 mm stainless steel case with slender, curved horns that are polished and satin-finished. The caseback of the watch is also engraved with a depiction of Mont Blanc, along with a compass and two crossed ice axes, further evoking the world of mountaineering and the famous peak that once inspired the founders of Montblanc. The watch is completed by a matching blue sfumato calfskin strap with white stitching.
