The 42mm case features a highly refined polished and satin-brushed finish and is equipped with a domed sapphire crystal caseback, which adds robustness to the watch and underlines its vintage look. The bronze model features a caseback made of bronze-coated titanium to prevent allergies. Furthermore, the caseback is engraved with the iconic Mont Blanc logo, a compass, and two ice axes, referencing the world of mountaineering.reference
