Beschreibung

Ref. MG-003290 - Material and surface form a fascinating liaison: Nickel silver, an alloy commonly used in historic watches and movements, including copper, nickel, and zinc, develops a silver-like hue with a vintage aesthetic thanks to its surface treatment. This is emphasized by the three-dimensionality of the dial: the hour numerals and the small seconds dial, as well as the historic "M. Grossmann" logo from 1875, which dates back to Moritz Grossmann, the important Glashütte watch pioneer and namesake of the manufactory. At work beneath the dial lies the finest mechanics: turning the TREMBLAGE model over, reveals the hand-wound caliber 100.1 through the glass caseback. Crafted entirely in the spirit of the old master, it also reflects his commitment to innovation and progress. Innovative new developments from the manufactory have been integrated into the caliber. This includes a newly designed oscillation system. The sophisticated design of the Grossmann balance wheel allows the moment of inertia to be optimally adjusted during handcrafted production and to achieve high kinetic energy with minimal air resistance and the smallest possible mass.
