Ref. MB128487 - The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days Collection is inspired by the famous adventure novel by Jules Verne. This Solitaire Midsize ballpoint pen, made of black-stained wood, references the second part of the journey from Bombay to Yokohama. The wood pays homage to the moment when Phileas Fogg rescues Princess Aouda from the Sati. In this part of the adventure, the main character travels on a majestic elephant, which features in a cartouche on the cap. The cap and barrel feature an engraved pattern inspired by motifs. The clip is decorated with a red lacquered check as a nod to Phileas Fogg's bet to complete the journey in 80 days. The length of the journey is engraved on the cap top: 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama and 80 days in total.
