Ref. AI2008-BBB11-300-0 - Die AIKON #tide verfügt über die gleichen Merkmale wie andere Uhren der AIKON Familie, allerdings besteht die #tide aus Upcycling-Plastik aus dem Ozean kombiniert mit Glasfasern. Der daraus entstandene Verbundstoff ist doppelt so hart wie gewöhnliches Plastik, fünfmal widerstandsfähiger und hat eine deutlich geringere Kohlenstoffbilanz als die Herstellung von PET-Neuware. Die Lünette, das Gehäuse, der Gehäuseboden, die Krone, das Endstück und die Schließe des neuen Modells bestehen aus diesem Verbundmaterial. 17 Flaschen sind nötig für die Herstellung der Uhr und ihrer maßgefertigten Verpackung, die zu 100 Prozent aus #tide Ozeanmaterial® besteht. Ein Gewinn für beide Seiten.
