Aikon #tide von Maurice Lacroix
The AIKON #tide is the perfect choice for environmentally conscious watch lovers. This watch shares the same features as other watches in the AIKON family, but the #tide is made from upcycled ocean plastic combined with glass fibers. The resulting composite is twice as hard as conventional plastic and five times more durable. Furthermore, the #tide has a significantly lower carbon footprint than the production of virgin PET. The bezel, case, caseback, crown, endpiece, and clasp of the new model are made from this composite material.
The production of the watch and its custom packaging requires 17 bottles collected from the ocean. The packaging is made from 100 percent #tide OceanMaterial®. With the AIKON #tide, you not only wear a stylish watch on your wrist, but you also contribute to protecting our environment.
