Ref. 116479 - The Montblanc 1858 Collection interprets the famous Minerva chronographs from the 1930s, whose striking designs and exceptional mechanics have stood the test of time. The collection's vintage style is underscored by the introduction of bronze – a complete innovation for the Maison. By choosing this metal, Montblanc unites classic Swiss watchmaking with a material firmly rooted in watchmaking history. For the first time in the watch industry, bronze has been combined with steel to create a two-color, two-material combination that perfectly showcases the vintage design. The distinctive Montblanc 1858 Automatic Dual Time features a classic black dial, cathedral-shaped hands, and Arabic numerals with beige Super-LumiNova® coating. It is available in a 44 mm satin-finished stainless steel case with a bronze bezel and crown. It is powered by the MB 29.19 caliber, an automatic movement with a dual-time complication, entirely developed and assembled in-house, as well as a home time and day/night indicator. The dial features an authentic Montblanc logo from the 1930s, and the brand-new cognac-colored calfskin strap, with classic beige stitching under the lugs, has been specially treated to give it an aged appearance, in keeping with the vintage theme.reference
